Syracuse Orange

The Syracuse Orange are a team that has lived on The Bubble the last few seasons. This season, though, things are looking a lot more bleak for them with an overall record of 14-12. The Orange have dropped five of their last six games in ACC action including a road loss to the Louisville Cardinals 90-66 this past Wednesday.

The Orange have lost three straight games and counting heading into the final games of the ACC schedule. They won five games in conference action at one point but since then, they’ve struggled to find the win column and it’s ultimately hurt their stock for the NCAA Tournament. For what it’s worth though, they’re still currently sixth in the conference standings

When looking at NET rankings, the Syracuse Orange are 2-5 against teams in Quadrant I and 2-5 against teams in Quadrant 2. With those numbers, that’s left them with a NET ranking of 66 and with more work left to do as March steadily approaches. With five more games left on the slate, it’d do them some good to win out the rest of their schedule, right now, it’s hard to even consider them a bubble team.

Verdict: Sell
