Duo: Terance Mann and Mfiondu Kabengele

NBA team: Los Angeles Clippers

College team: Florida State Seminoles, 2017-18, 2018-19

Best NCAA Tournament finish: Elite Eight, 2017-18

Former Florida State Seminoles Terance Mann and Mfiondu Kabengele are one of the most recent college duos to team up in the NBA.

The Los Angeles Clippers traded up to select Kabengele with the No. 27 pick in the 2019 NBA draft. Then they nabbed Mann with the No. 48 overall pick.

The two former Seminoles have had limited starts to their NBA careers, with Kabengele logging slightly more than five minutes per game and Mann contributing roughly eight minutes per game.

They overlapped for two seasons at Florida State. In 2017-18, Mann was a junior guard averaging 12.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game, according to Sports Reference. Kabengele, a freshman center, poured in another 7.2 points per game to go with 4.6 boards.

The Seminoles only earned a No. 9 seed in the NCAA Tournament that season, but they upset Missouri, Xavier and Gonzaga before falling to Michigan by 4 points in the Elite Eight. Mann led all scorers with 18 points in the Sweet 16 win over Gonzaga.

During the 2018-19 season, when Mann was a senior and Kabengele was a sophomore, Florida State peaked at No. 9 in the Associated Press poll and earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament after delivering eventual-champion Virginia its third loss of the season during the ACC Tournament.

But the Seminoles lost a payback game to Gonzaga in the Sweet 16. On the season, Mann put up 11.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, according to Sports Reference. Despite never starting a game, Kabengele added 13.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per contest.
