22. Ohio State Buckeyes

Ohio State split its contests during this past week with a road loss to Iowa before returning home to take down Maryland. The Buckeyes have seemingly recovered from their swoon of a few weeks ago and are back to looking like a very dangerous team. Head coach Chris Holtmann and Co. have done an excellent job returning to national prominence and could be a very dangerous team in March with their current level of play. Nebraska on the road comes next before a daunting final three regular-season games.

21. Texas Tech Red Raiders

Texas Tech’s resume is far from the most overwhelming in the country but the team ranks extremely well on efficiency metrics. The Red Raiders have hovered around the back-half of my power rankings all season long and warrant a little upward movement considering the struggles of other teams. Texas Tech has won five of its last six games and is trending in the right direction heading into March. Coach Beard unsurprisingly has this team performing extremely well on the defensive end of the floor.

20. Oregon Ducks

Oregon goes as Payton Pritchard goes. That’s just the truth at this point in the season. Thankfully for the Ducks, though, their star guard has been going pretty darn well all season long. Pritchard is not only one of the best overall players in the country but he is also incredibly clutch. He has shown up in crucial moments all year long and is a major reason why Oregon can still potentially make a run in March. It also helps that head coach Dana Altman has been successful in the postseason as of late.
