Wichita State Shockers

Current Record: 20-7

Conference Record: 8-6

BracketMatrix Seed: 10

Status: In

The Shockers haven’t really been great away from home this season at 4-4 and will play two of their last four games away from Charles Koch Arena. The Shockers are 8-7 in (NET) Quadrant 1 and Quadrant 2 but don’t have any losses from quadrant 3 or 4.

Wichita State really needs to win three of their last four games and that’s doable. A game at Memphis in their penultimate game of the season will have a lot of implications for both teams in terms of an at large bid and AAC tournament seeding.

Erik Stevenson has been the Shockers leading scorer this season on a team that’s been extremely balanced. Their 63.7 points allowed per game are good enough for 39th in the country. Wichita State will smother you with their defense which has been pretty sound this season.

Heading into Tuesday night there are three teams at 8-6 and vying for the 4th seed in the AAC tournament. A reminder that the top four seeds in the tournament receive a bye for the first round and will not have to play on Thursday. The biggest question mark for this Wichita State team is who’s going to step up in crunch time.
