Notable Movers: West Virginia and Oklahoma

Oklahoma defeated West Virginia on the road over this past weekend and that result showcased a bit of how each team is trending at this moment. For West Virginia, it has now dropped six of its last seven games and is plummeting down seed lines as a result. The Mountaineers still rank well in efficiency-based metrics and are safely projected to make the NCAA Tournament field but they could be trending towards the dreaded 8/9 matchup if they keep dropping games.

Oklahoma, on the other hand, used wins over Texas Tech and West Virginia during this past week to escape being mired around the cutline. With those victories, the Sooners soared into single-digit seed territory heading into their final two regular-season games. Oklahoma arguably experienced the best week of any bubble team with those results. This resume has gone from having only one Q1 win a couple of weeks ago to having five.
