14. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (13-17) (6-14 ACC)

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons have been an up and down squad in the ACC this season and it’s shown in their conference record of 6-14 this season. They closed out their regular-season slate with an 84-64 loss to the NC Wolfpack this past Friday, giving up 35 bench points en route to a big loss. Braxton Beverly put up 16 points during a 24-4 run to doom Wake Forest from the jump.

The Demon Deacons remain an unpredictable group despite getting max production from their starting cast. Brandon Childress finished the regular season with 15.5 points, 4.6 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. Big man Olivier Sarr had a productive junior season, producing 13.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per contest.

With Childress on his way out though and no successor as the point guard spot, the Demon Deacons will have to be on the lookout for some help in the backcourt. Chaundee Brown will be back and he’s battled through a few injuries this season. As he finds his rhythm again, Wake Forest will be a team that will look to get out the bottom of the conference, or Danny Manning could find himself on the coaching carousel soon.
