Oklahoma State Cowboys

Oklahoma State likely would have missed the NCAA Tournament during this past season as the team is yet to dance under the leadership of head coach Mike Boynton (three years). With that said, though, the program appears to be heading in the right direction thanks to plenty of big-time recruiting wins. It is also important to mention that the Cowboys finished 18-14 (7-11) in 2019-20 so it was not an altogether poor campaign.

Oklahoma State’s 2020 recruiting class is already loaded with three commits, including one from the No. 1 overall prospect in the class. Cade Cunningham is clearly the crown jewel of the group while Rondel Walker (No. 94) and Matthew Alexander-Moncrieffe (No. 151) round out the perimeter. Montreal Pena (No. 313) is the lone early frontcourt commit for the Cowboys in this class.

This means that there is definitely a spot for JT Thor to thrive in Stillwater. Oklahoma State had appeared to be the favorite in this recruitment for a long time but the situation has become a bit murkier in recent months. The Cowboys are obviously still in the mix and Thor already has a relationship with Cunningham. It would not be a surprise if Thor commits to Coach Boynton.

Oklahoma State currently holds all six crystal ball predictions for Thor’s decision.
