Villanova Wildcats

Villanova is regarded as one of the nation’s powerhouse programs. Under the leadership of head coach Jay Wright, the Wildcats have emerged as consistent national title threats thanks to strong recruiting and excellent player development. Cutting down the nets as national champions in two of the past five seasons has certainly helped take the program to the next level but those achievements were thanks in large part to securing high-level prospects and molding them together to form a cohesive roster.

Looking ahead to the 2020-21 season, Villanova expects to return the vast majority of its roster from this past campaign. As a result, the Wildcats are already being pegged as one of the national title favorites and as a potential preseason No. 1 team in the country. While Juzang might have to sit out the campaign, he could spend the year practicing for a championship-caliber team before taking the court as one of the top players in the following campaign.

It might be difficult to lure Juzang even further from the west coast, but Villanova has a lot to offer. All six schools on this list could be regarded as national powerhouses that have hopes of winning a national title in the next 3-4 years (when Juzang would be on campus). Villanova, though, is the only one that can actually point to its trophy case for show not just one, but two recent titles.

Coach Wright is one of the best in the business both on the recruiting trail and with regard to building championship-caliber rosters. That could be difficult to pass up.
