Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia is not the most successful program in Kowacie Reeves’ final list. The Bulldogs have missed the NCAA Tournament in each of the last five seasons and that includes only reaching a 16-16 record during this past campaign with one of the nation’s best players on the roster. They have finished below-.500 in SEC play in three straight years but it seems as though they could be trending in the right direction again soon.

This optimism is based mainly on the fact that there is a hotbed of high school talent in the state and head coach Tom Crean is a highly-regarded recruiter.

Coach Crean has been an excellent recruiter throughout his career and that has been evident during his time in Georgia as well. He quickly landed a Top 15 class in his first season with the program and followed that up with a strong 2020 group as well. Coach Crean has clearly shown himself to be capable of securing top talents out of high school but he also does a nice job developing talent.

While Reeves could be an immediately impactful player at the collegiate level, it also feels likely that he will be a multi-year performer. If he is looking for a chance to improve year-over-year and help take a program to new heights, then Georgia could be an excellent destination. This is a program that seems to be on the rise under Coach Crean and he will surely land plenty of talent to put around Reeves.

Considering Reeves is from Georgia, that could also give this program a bit of an edge.
