13. Will Wade (LSU)

Every other coach involved in the FBI probe could be included on this list, perhaps as an honorable mention, but we’re going to focus on Wade specifically. The on-court results have been fantastic but the off-court stuff has been very disturbing. He has already been suspended (and reinstated), but this seat will get really hot if anything of value is revealed in the coming months.

Away from the probe, things have actually been excellent for the Tigers since Wade came aboard. Despite questions about his recruiting, it certainly hasn’t let up and he’ll bring in another fantastic class next season. His Tigers made the Sweet Sixteen last season, though Tony Benford coached them there during Wade’s suspension. LSU’s offense was among the best in the nation this year and they’ll look to compete at the top of the SEC again going forward.

However, the FBI probe hanging over his head remains a pretty significant thing. Wade was forced to make alterations to his contract when he was reinstated and the shady nature of the investigation is certainly still a concern. For as long as Wade is with LSU, this program is trending upwards, but is that success tainted?
