Buffalo Bulls

If staying close to New York is a preference, there are some in-state programs who have high potential for next season. That includes Buffalo, who returns three double-digit scorers, led by All-MAC guard Jayvon Graves. He and forwards Jeenathan Williams and Josh Mballa look for a big upcoming season for the Bulls as they look to get back to the NCAA Tournament.

Garcia would be a replacement for Davonta Jordan and Antwain Johnson’s production on offense while also being able to play the 3/4 spots on the court. Buffalo was a great rebounding team but gave up some boards as well so having a bit more size wouldn’t hurt them at all.

Georgetown Hoyas

With Mac McClung now out the door, the primary returning scorers for the Hoyas are now Jahvon Blair and Jamarko Pickett. Both are in the guard/range but there’s now a huge need for offense and some kind of experience to get through next season. Garcia may have to play the undersized power forward spot but could create his own mismatches on offense against Big East foes.

It’s hard to say that the Stony Brook grad transfer would experience much winning if he chose Georgetown but in terms of playing opportunity and exposure at a prestigious program, this could be the ideal landing spot for Garcia in his final year.
