Creighton Bluejays

A guard-centric offense, Creighton has shown great work with perimeter players and development, including leading scorer Ty-Shon Alexander, who opted to enter the NBA Draft. Assumining that Gach has to sit a season, he’ll be replacing multiple guards for the Bluejays, including Mitchell Ballock and possible 2021 potential draft candidate Marcus Zegarowski.

With Duke sit-out transfer Alex O’Connell already with this team, that would likely push Gach out onto the wing. But positioning didn’t matter much with the Bluejays three-guard offense this past season and Gach’s ability to pass from the wing, combined with O’Connell’s three-point shooting could be a great combination to have for the following year.

Maryland Terrapins

Without leading scorers Jalen Smith and Anthony Cowan, Maryland will be hoping that their three-way guard lineup will lead them back to the NCAA Tournament next season, But they’ll need to find a replacement for one of them, as Darryl Morsell will graduate a year from now. Also, you never know if either of the junior guards leaves a year early, so having a guard ready just in case would be a good idea.

Gach would fit well and provide a needed athlete for the Terrapins. They’ve been a winning program under Mark Turgeon and would provide a winning atmosphere for the former Ute. There will be other Big Ten programs in the picture though, including a local option.
