The easy wins for Kansas Basketball

13. Omaha (12/8)

In their easiest non-conference dual of the season, Kansas will meet Omaha. The Mavericks were a middle of the pack team in the Summit League, but stand no chance at Allen Fieldhouse. Easiest win and likely largest margin of victory here.

12. Eastern Illinois (11/16)

Another easy win against a mid-major, the Jayhawks will face EIU early in the season. While EIU knocked off Murray State in a crazy comeback last season, Kansas is a different story. Easy win.

11. Southern Utah (11/13)

Southern Utah is another average team in a one-bid conference, so you can guess the result here. Another schedule-filler, and another blowout in Lawrence. This one won’t be close either.

10. Georgetown (11/26-27), Wooden Legacy Tournament

There’s a chance Kansas won’t play Georgetown in this tournament because of seeding, but we’ll include all three potential opponents on this list. Patrick Ewing is losing just about everyone, and his Hoyas are easily the worst team in the Big East. Kansas should be licking their chops at this one.

9. Stony Brook (11/20)

The last of the easy wins, the Stony Brook Seawolves will come to Kansas on the 20th of November. Stony Brook is coming off of a very good 20-13 season, and could perhaps put up the same sort of fight that ETSU did in Kansas last season, but this is still another blowout waiting in the wings.

So there you are. Kansas has five games that they can mark down as wins before the season has started. Now for the real part of the schedule.
