Tulane Green Wave

As one of the worst rebounding teams last season, the Green Wave is desperate for both size and talent, losing their top three scoring and rebounding contributors. The team has been busy this offseason, landing several transfers. One of them is Jaylen Forbes, a former teammate of Davis’ at Alabama.

Although Tulane landed Vandy big man transfer Oton Janković, there’s still a big need for a true center on the roster going forward. Compared to some of the other options on this list, the Green Wave offers the best chance at maximum playing time in the future and with a little extra talent, could rise to become a contender in the AAC.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons

It has been a massive roster turnover this offseason for brand new head coach Steve Forbes. Despite the high number of departures, the Deacons have landed several grad transfers and one sit-out player in Daivien Williamson, although he very well could get a waiver himself. Most of the pickups have been on the perimeter, still leaving holes in the frontcourt that needs to be dealt with.

It’s great that forwards Isaiah Mucius, Ismael Massoud, and Ody Oguama all have elected to return but Wake Forest needs a true center in order to compete in the ACC. Davis, who already has proven to be a contributor at the power conference level, would be a massive pickup for the roster to help jumpstart the rebuilding efforts.
