NCAA Basketball: Ranking rising 2021 4-star G Jordan Riley’s final 5 teams

Florida State Seminoles
The Noles have experienced a lot of positional versatility in their backcourt over the last several years. Leonard Hamilton has not utilized a true point guard very frequently on the roster, but he’s been successful without them. Florida State plays stout defense and relies on a strong rotation of players offensively to grind out games.
Riley’s skillset is a good fit with the Seminoles. He enjoys playing on the defensive side of the floor and readily tries to block shots in the paint. Offensively, his tendencies as a downhill scoring threat put him in a very similar range as many other players on the roster. He’s a physical guard and has no issues playing through traffic to score or create for his teammates.
Much like the Jayhawks situation though, Florida State’s recruiting priorities of Matthew Cleveland, JD Davison, and Jalen Warley in the 2021 class could press Riley into a smaller role in his freshman season. Additionally, the backcourt rotation Hamilton could employ in 2021 would further stunt the possibility to command a huge allocation of minutes.
