NCAA Basketball: Ranking rising 2021 4-star G Jordan Riley’s final 5 teams

Connecticut Huskies
The return to the Big East conference for the Huskies is a big headline moving towards the 2020 season. The emergence of combo guard James Bouknight has given Dan Hurley a new go-to option offensively and one that should take another step forward in his play. His continued progress on the floor could mean an early entrance to the NBA prior to 2021. The addition of Howard transfer RJ Cole will be a great compliment next to Bouknight as well.
The development of several backcourt prospects could open up early opportunities for Riley, should he join the Huskies. His physicality should mirror the play and style of Bouknight who will find similar opportunities to develop and make big strides in his production. Riley’s ability to crash the boards and operate as an extra low-post defender will elevate the already tenacious play of Big East games and push UConn to being a more complete team.
Riley’s play is dynamic enough that he wouldn’t have to worry about issues fitting in the rotation. UConn is still in play for several high-rated wings and Tyrese Hunter at the point guard spot, but he should fit seamlessly with the Huskies program and contribute immediately in 2021.
