NCAA Basketball: Where will class of 2022 five-star guard Skyy Clark land?

UCLA Bruins
The other Los Angeles based program, UCLA, is also on the up and up under new direction from Mick Cronin. A very strong string on wins to end the 2019 season, combined with roster continuity this offseason, points to a much-improved 2020 season for the Bruins.
Like their crosstown rivals, USC, have been making noise on the recruiting trail, Cronin has been doing exceptionally well to keep pace and land top talent as well. UCLA holds a top-10 class currently and is only two spots behind their counterparts.
For Cronin’s success to continue, he needs a heady guard to lead his squad on the floor with a high basketball IQ. Clark is more than capable of taking up that role and his arrival could be the perfect combination of backcourt depth and talent to bolster this team even more. Current guard Tyger Campbell has shown big improvements in Cronin’s system and should continue to elevate his play on the court, but a pairing with Skyy Clark could be even more fruitful for the Bruins.
The program secured the pledges of 5-star wing Peyton Watson and 4-star guard Will McClendon to add even more talent to this roster in 2021. Along with Kentucky transfer Johnny Juzang, the Bruins are loaded across the board. The question for Clark at UCLA isn’t a matter of surrounding himself with top talent, but is staying home the ideal move for his college career?
