Wake Forest Demon Deacons

First-year head coach Steve Forbes has a complete rebuild on his hands, particularly after next season after all of these grad transfer pickups depart. When it comes to the small forward position, combo forward Isaiah Mucius will get minutes, along with a now-eligible transfer from Virginia Tech in Isaiah Wilkins. Holt would have a great chance at major minutes as a freshman but will have to go through the growing pains in the win/loss column.

Washington Huskies

Coming back out west and close to family is a selling point for Holt, along with playing in Coach Mike Hopkins system on the wings. With Naz Carter and Hameir Wright leaving after this season, the small forward spot will come down to Michigan transfer Cole Bajema, RaeQuan Battle, and potentially Holt in the future. He has a great shot at real playing time but the Huskies also need to focus on the frontcourt to replace the former five-star forwards Jaden McDaniels and Isaiah Stewart.

Xavier Musketeers

The relationship with Odom could prove pivotal in this recruitment, even with Xavier already having a small forward commit in the 2021 class with Elijah Tucker. Between him and the transfer pickup of Ben Stanley this offseason, it’ll be difficult for Holt to find playing time in the first couple of seasons.

Still, the Musketeers can offer a stable program with a familiar face, with both Holt and Odom potentially starting down the road. This looks to be a three-way battle between Xavier, Georgia, and Washington, although the ACC programs have the most amount of playing time to offer.
