Shooting Guard

Starter: Trey Pulliam

A former junior college transfer, Pulliam is one of the major keys to the Aztecs potentially replicating last year’s success. A key reserve for the team last season, Pulliam appeared in all 32 games, putting up only modest numbers with averages of 3.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 17.5 minutes per contest.

Dutcher will look to Pulliam, now a senior to step up into a starting role this season, and hopefully help replace the production and ability to score lost in the backcourt following the departures of a pair of starters in Flynn and Feagin.

Backup: Adam Seiko

Just behind Pulliam and someone Dutcher is banking on improvement from is junior guard Adam Seiko.

Yet to make a meaningful impact in his first two seasons in San Diego, the former three-star recruit will see increased minutes in the 2020-21 season.

Logging a mere 2.9 points per game last season over 359 minutes, a bounce in his third year will be key to contention in a crowded Mountain West and helping deepen their rotation at the guard position.
