Clemson Tigers

Biggest needs: Small forward and center

With four-star combo guard Joshua Beadle committed, the Tigers can look at replacing senior guard Clyde Trapp, Jr. in the next class. Four-star shooting guard Jakai Robinson is a priority recruit and could be the answer to the team’s scoring issues on the roster.

Considering that the 2020 class features plenty of power forwards, Aamir Simms departure after next season won’t be too difficult to handle. Looking for a true center should be more important, with three-star 6’11 big man Jonas Aidoo a current target.

Duke Blue Devils

Biggest needs: Point guard and shooting guard

With top-10 overall prospects Paolo Banchero (PF) and AJ Griffin (SF) on board, the Blue Devils can essentially add a star at each of the other three positions to make sure that everywhere is covered. That includes at center, with five-star prospect Charles Bediako currently in play.

The focus though needs to be more towards the perimeter, where the fate of freshmen combo guards DJ Steward and Jeremy Roach is unknown for the 2021 NBA Draft. Shooting guard/wing Jalen Johnson is much more likely to leave, which is why five-star shooting guard target Trevor Keels would be a perfect compliment for whichever guard sticks around. But with senior Jordan Goldwire set to graduate, Duke does need to find another ball-handler as a backup on the 2021-22 roster.
