Alabama Crimson Tide

Despite having been a contender for a host of 2021 prospects, the Tide still doesn’t have any commits to date. That could change with Fudge, who would fill a potential hole on the wing position for the roster. Once Herb Jones and Alex Petty graduates, that would leave Keon Johnson. Juwan Gary and James Rojas, all unproven at the D-1 level as of now.

Fudge would fit well in this high-paced offense head coach Nate Oats has and he could very well be joined by five-star center Charles Bediako in the class. If that happens, Alabama could have one of the best rosters not only in the SEC but in all of college basketball. The Tide is a clear threat to land Fudge and should be a finalist in the end.

Arkansas Razorbacks

No surprise that the Razorbacks are involved with a top-100 prospect that resides in the South. They’ve literally been involved with everyone ever since head coach Eric Musselman arrived. There would be a potential fit for him on the future roster, with both Vance Jackson and Justin Smith leaving after next season.

The issue is that Fudge would be in direct competition with another top-50 small forward commit in Chance Moore. He’s a 6’5 wing but has just as much potential to be an offensive star. And while Fudge could play some at the four, there’s also JUCO star forward Akol Mawein, another current commit. This is a scenario where Arkansas is on the list, but not a true contender.
