Ole Miss Rebels

The Rebels are currently sitting pretty with the recruitment of the 5-star forward. The team has a dwindling group of frontcourt options and Huntley-Hatfield has previously noted in a post for The Brandon Huntley-Hatfield Blog on SI.com “I’m looking at everything at this point…who else they’re recruiting at my position and who they already have at my position”.

Ole Miss and Kermit Davis were the second program in his recruitment to offer a scholarship, and that long-standing relationship has led many national experts to believe this is the situation to beat.

Ole Miss plays an up-tempo system and has heavily relied upon their guard play in recent seasons. However, they haven’t had the caliber of talent Huntley-Hatfield can bring in the frontcourt. His addition would be a major game-changer for the program that has already signed touted guards Daeshun Ruffin and James White in the 2021 class.

Huntley-Hatfield’s ability to run the floor, be a lethal weapon in the pick-and-roll, and a dominant threat on all areas of the court would go a long way towards the program’s success and mutually elevating the play of the trio as a whole.
