Michigan State secures monster class

Tom Izzo and his staff can be considered among the best developmental staffs in all of the nation. Izzo doesn’t always get the most elite recruits in every cycle, but the guys he identifies and hones-in on have certain traits that make them monster college players for the Spartans.

Whether it be the development of their skillsets, strength, and conditioning, diet, or character, Izzo & Co. get every last drop of juice out of their players.

However, this year Izzo hit the jackpot and signed three top guards to his roster. Led by 5-star Max Christie, Michigan State is retooling its roster at the perfect time to experience a seamless transition between talented youth and experienced veterans departing the team.

Top-70 guards Jaden Akins and Pierre Brooks join Christie in the Spartans 2021 class and each provides a little different skill set to impact Michigan State on the court. Izzo and fans will have a lot of fun with this group.
