No rest for the weary for Kansas as they are becoming to look less and less like the Jayhawks we’re accustomed to seeing. Their first game of the week was a big Monday showdown against No.2 Baylor.

Kansas won the game in Waco last year, in what was among the best games of the 2019-2020 season. However, the Jayhawks did not have the same amount of success on Monday. They coughed up the basketball 18 times and let the Bears shoot over 50 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc.

David McCormack was held in check with fouls throughout the game. However, the Jayhawks got a great performance from Chrisitan Braun. Braun only shot the ball seven times but was extremely efficient when he did. Knocking down five three-pointers and 17 points on the day.

Jalen Wilson was limited to just four points and it would be the Jayhawks’ fourth loss of the season.

They would get tested on the road against Oklahoma on Saturday. Kansas would shoot just 33 percent from the field in the first half and have a one-point deficit, heading into the locker room. Braun was 0-4 from the field and McCormack had just five points.

For the first time since 2012-2013 that Kansas would drop three straight Big 12 games. There is no sense of consistency on offense and they are on the downward trajectory.

The Jayhawks return back home and play a Thursday game against TCU. Just 46 hours later, they will then travel to Knoxville to face No. 6 Tennessee.
