Jim Christian – Boston College Eagles

Now I know this current list concerns just underwhelming coaches, but I’m going to link both, Jim Christian, and the Boston College program as a whole on here. I don’t want to see anyone fail or be fired, but it really makes no sense how he is still in charge of the Eagles.

In his seven years at BC, Christian has only accounted for one winning season. That winning season was a very pedestrian 19-16. With an overall record of 78-129, and currently being 3-10, I think there is zero chance he survives.

He’s had more than a fair opportunity to resurrect the program, but ultimately, it is very lifeless and unexciting. The most memorable thing to me in his term was when he had a walking boot and was hobbling up and down the sidelines. The visual of that has summed up his time at BC. Painful, just painful.

Christian has been here maybe two years too long, and the faithful in Chestnut Hill undoubtedly deserve better. Jeff Hafley provided a spark for the football program this past year, and Boston College needs to double up and hit right on the hardwood. Rick Pitino makes sense…
