3. Prentiss Hubb is starting to heat up

Point guard Prentiss Hubb is playing really well for the Irish as of late. The junior point guard has now had two great games back to back.

On Wednesday, Hubb finished the game with 22 points (3-8 from three), 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Saturday night he had another great stat line finishing the game with 17 points (5-9 from three), nine assists, and a rebound.

It should be noted that Hubb has started to play better this year when he is not required to be at the point guard position all the time. With transfer guard Trey Wertz eligible to play, Hubb is able to be more aggressive in finding his shot. This has been put on full display the last two games for Prentiss Hubb.

Coach Mike Brey handed Hubb the keys to the car for the Irish offense two years ago as a true freshman. The junior guard has made huge strides in his game, and you can tell that Brey really trusts Hubb out on the court. Prentiss Hubb is very good now and he still has two years of eligibility after this season. Do not be shocked in two years from now if Prentiss Hubb is talked about as being one of the best point guards in the ACC, and in the whole country.
