Wildcats . 9. team. 463. . 5-13 (1-8). Previous: 9th

Previous games: 59-107 loss at. No. 2 Baylor, 61-68 loss vs. Texas A&M.

Next games: Tuesday at. No. 15 Kansas, Saturday vs. No. 10 Texas Tech.

Even with how bad of a week Iowa State, there is an argument to be made that Kansas State’s week was worse. It looked so after Tuesday, with a 48 point loss to Baylor. Nigel Pack was the only player to score in double figures and gave up 107 points to the Bears.

5-21 shooting from beyond the arc and 21 turnovers did not help the cause for the Wildcats. The loss was the biggest margin of victory for Baylor and pitted Kansas State at ninth.

It was all negatives for Kansas State, as they played Texas A&M competitively on Saturday. The Wildcats got a career performance from Nigel Pack. He finished with 26 points on 9/16 shooting from the field.

The defensive performance was much improved from the Wildcats as they limited the Aggies to 40 percent shooting from the field. The Wildcats assisted 15 times on 23 shots and limited the turnovers to just 11.

Mike McGuirl was the only other Wildcat to hit double figures with 10 points and had six assists in the game. Kansas State will need multiple conference wins, in order to get out of the ninth ranking. Their slate won’t get easier with two projected Top 25 teams on their schedule over the week.
