It was not the greatest of pre-games, when the media found out that Mike Miles would be absent with a Non-COVID illness.
Even if it wasn’t an efficient game, TCU got 20 points from RJ Nembhard on just 4-16 from the field. However, his 11-13 from the free throw line was clutch. A major key to the Horned Frogs’ success was the rebounding margin as they won it, 51-34. That also includes a season-high, 21 offensive rebounds.

After missing the previous game, Miles would return and not to the form we’ve seen. He finished with 10 points on 4-13 shooting from the field. Nembhard also added 15 points as he led all scorers, alongside grabbing seven rebounds.
Jamie Dixon has taken TCU and made them respectable within the conference. However, the Horned Frogs have not made it past the first round of the NCAA Tournament and have only made the tournament once in his five years in Fort Worth.
His hot seat might be getting hotter and the Horned Frogs are looking like they will miss the tournament.
