Here Come the Hogs

It is hard to find a hotter team in college basketball currently than the Arkansas Razorbacks.

The Razorbacks have emerged as the second-best team in the SEC, and have now won nine SEC games in a row to move to 19-5 overall and 11-4 in the SEC. Arkansas picked up two big home wins this past week where they defeated #6 Alabama 81-66 on Wednesday night, as well as defeating LSU 83-75 on Saturday afternoon.

The Hogs got excellent performances from star freshman Moses Moody and senior forward Justin Smith this week as they combined for 72 points and 35 rebounds in their two games. Arkansas also out-shot their opponents from the free throw line this week as they attempted 74 free throws (made 53) compared to their opponents combined 20.

Arkansas is one of the hottest teams in NCAA Basketball at the moment, and it is possible that the Razorbacks enter the SEC Tournament having won eleven SEC games in a row as their two remaining conference opponents are both under .500 in SEC play.
