Joshua Primo – Alabama

The top team in the SEC, Alabama is a very different team when Joshua Primo is making his shots. The star freshman has been up and down at times during his first season in Tuscaloosa but has shown that he is a very good 3-point shooter.

Primo is averaging 8.1 PPG on 42.1% shooting from two and 38.6% from three during his first season at Alabama. The freshman has shown that he can explode for 15+ points on any night, partly due to his 3-point shooting.

Primo has had some phenomenal 3-point shooting performances this season but has also had some games where he doesn’t seem to shoot the ball at all. A few of the these performances include Primo going 6/8 at LSU and 4/5 against Mississippi State, as he has made at least 3 3-pointers in eight games this season.

Alabama is considered the favorite by most to win the SEC Tournament and will be playing motivated this week with a potential 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament in sight. The Crimson Tide have many 3-point shooters that consistently make their shots, but if Joshua Primo starts making his 3’s on a consistent basis, the Crimson Tide may be near impossible to contain offensively.
