1. Excluding the 1 seed, which team has the best odds of making the Final 4?

I have been high on Florida State this entire season. I love the way they play, their size is a matchup issue for any opponent and Scottie Barnes has played phenomenally well. As a four seed, their path isn’t easy by any stretch. If everything is chalk, as they say, the Seminoles would have to get through Georgetown, LSU (if they beat Michigan), and Alabama if they beat Texas. I still like their chances to make it despite the teams they could face.

Additionally, I’d give Alabama the nod also. The Crimson Tide gave us one hell of a game against the LSU Tigers in the SEC Championship Game. Tough games on their path would be Texas in the Sweet 16 and Florida State in the Elite Eight.

I like either of these two teams to make the Final Four because they are well-coached, they have good on-court leadership, and they have proven they can win when it matters.

I think Alabama should be the favorite in this region. Even with Michigan being the one
seed, I believe currently Bama is the better team with Isaiah Livers out.

Excluding the 1 seed, which team has the best odds of making the Final 4? Alabama is the easy answer here. They ran through the SEC and can score with anyone in the country. Question will be how do they handle teams outside the SEC.

Stevenson

I think Alabama has the best chance to make the Final 4. They just won the SEC tourney and are a great defensive team.

There seems to be a clear path for Alabama to make its first-ever appearance in the Final Four. Aside from a potential matchup with Texas, the Crimson Tide are the clear best team in their side of the Region, and I believe they will see someone other than Michigan in a potential East Region Final matchup. If the Tide gets hot, Alabama will be extremely tough to stop due to their style of play, as well as their #2 ranked defense in the country.
