Arizona Wildcats

Arizona is in the midst of a lull and is on the hunt for other transfers. A connection to a former Wildcat could help bring Battle to Tucson.

According to Arizona Desert Swarm, Battle was an AAU teammate of Zeke Nnaji back in Minnesota. Nnaji is now plying his craft with the Denver Nuggets in the NBA, a path Battle is surely interested in following.

247 Sports ranks Arizona’s 2021 class in the Top 25 of the nation, but it’s all shooting guards and combo guards. A dynamic wing like Battle would be a good add to Sean Miller’s program.

Marquette Golden Eagles

Targeting players for Marquette may be a challenge. Who’s to say who the head coach will be after the disappointing 2020-21 season? Steve Wojciechowski might be in big trouble.

Jamal Cain, Theo John, and Koby McEwen are among the players who are goners. But DJ Carton should be coming back, as should Dawson Garcia on the heels of a strong freshman season when he averaged 13.0 points per game.

Marquette should be able to move past this tough season and rise back in the Big East ranks. For the sake of his job, targeting Battle is a must for Wojciechowski to achieve some level of job security.
