March Madness 2021: Top 3 storylines for 2021 Final Four games

Houston has Returned
The Houston Cougars are back in the Final Four for the first time since 1984 and the days of “Phi Slama Jama.” Yes, the Cougars didn’t necessarily face the same opposition that the other three teams faced to get here but don’t get it twisted, the Cougars are very good.
Houston comes in as the lone 2-seed to make the Final Four coming out of a very unpredictable Midwest Region. Just how “unpredictable” was the Midwest Region however? The Cougars became the first team to ever make it to the Final Four by playing four double-digit seeds with the highest-seeded team being 10-seed Rutgers in the Second Round.
As mentioned previously though, the Cougars are very good. Houston is led by the AAC Player of the Year Quentin Grimes who averages 18 PPG on 40+% shooting from two and three-point range. Grimes has hit some big shots for the Cougars so far in the NCAA Tournament, and will need to continue his stellar play with a very tough Baylor matchup looming next in the Final Four.
We have made it to the Final Four. No matter whether you want a Gonzaga/Baylor final, the Cinderella run of UCLA to continue, or for Houston to return to their dominant ways, we can all agree that this year’s Final Four will certainly be one to remember.
