16. G Aaron Cook – Gonzaga Bulldogs

2020-21 stats: 4.2 ppg and 1.7 apg

The stats may not say much but Cook was an energizer and quality defender off the bench for the nearly unbeaten Bulldogs this past season. His role became limited once Andrew Nembhard got a waiver and became a starter but don’t forget that the guard averaged 15 ppg in limited games the year prior at Southern Illinois.

Cook’s two main options are either go back to the mid-major level and start and be a leading player or go to a power conference program and have an even role off the bench than when he did at Gonzaga. His defense alone, along with a solid 34% three-point career shooting would make him a valuable bench addition for a contending program.

15. G Jordan Hall – St. Joseph’s Hawks

2020-21 stats: 10.6 ppg, 5.9 rpg, and 5.7 apg

The Hawks were abysmal throughout last season but they were fun to watch offensively. Upperclassmen Ryan Daly and Taylor Funk performed as expected but the emergence of freshman Hall was a nice surprise. He was able to easily rack up assists but also was a double-digit scorer and used his 6’8 frame to be an effective rebounder as well.

With up to four more years to play, Hall could be a great future piece to pick up for most higher-level teams. Now, he’ll be expecting to be a starting guard and it’s early to be sure that he’s capable of doing more than putting up good stats on a bad team. Mid-major programs may be more comfortable giving him the keys next year but he’ll have plenty of suitors.
