Kentucky Wildcats

John Calipari will be looking to forget the Wildcats on-court performances heading into this fall with a brand new group. He has managed to rebuild the roster quickly via the transfer market this offseason landing guards Sahvir Wheeler (Georgia), CJ Frederick (Iowa), and Kellan Grady (Davidson). He also managed to land Arizona Compass Prep guard TyTy Washington to round out the backcourt talent for next season.

The success this offseason will allow Coach Cal to solely focus on 2022 and specifically the state of Texas to load up again. The Wildcats have already received the commitment of 5-star guard Skyy Clark, but are still actively targeting Cason Wallace and George to add to the fray. The thought of Kentucky landing all three should be extremely scary for the rest of the college basketball landscape, but the likelihood of the Wildcats doing so cannot be viewed as likely.

However, George like many other Dallas products to the Wildcat program has a track record of high success in Lexington. The chance to be the next one in line and ascend to the professional ranks is a very realistic path with Kentucky. As George foresees, increasing brand exposure in the college route and playing in the NCAA Tournament are likely occurrences in Lexington and he will have every opportunity to build himself into a top draft prospect.
