Alabama Crimson Tide

The Crimson Tide has landed five-star prospects from the guard and center positions, including incoming freshmen, JD Davison and Charles Bediako. There’s a good chance that Davison is around for just one year but Bediako likely will be back at center. And the frontcourt duo of he and Walker would be one of the best in the country for 2022-23. And Alabama has a fast-paced offensive system, something that Walker would benefit greatly from with his skillset.

Auburn Tigers

Auburn’s offensive system also is one that prospects would like and head coach Bruce Pearl has sent a number of players to the NBA Draft. The next one likely will be Jabari Smith, a five-star power forward prospect that will be a featured part of the Tiger’s offense this season. Assuming that he’s a “one and done”, this will be a viable option for Walker the year after. Otherwise, I don’t see them winning out.

Houston Cougars

Head coach Kelvin Sampson hasn’t been getting many top-50 recruits for the Cougars in the AAC but after making the Final Four, that could very well change. They already have four-star guard commit Emanuel Sharp in the class and are looking for its first-ever five-star commit in Walker. Although they’ve been guard-centric in the past, adding this power forward prospect would make them as balanced as ever and offer Walker the chance to be the focal point of a team likely to be ranked in the top-10.
