Richard “Pop” Isaacs | 6’2″ Point Guard | Napa, CA

National Rankings: 247 sports #31, Rivals #99

Isaacs is one of the better point guards in the class of 2022 and Texas Tech has a clear hole in that position. Should early playing time be a factor for him in his decision, Texas Tech can certainly offer plenty of opportunities.

Isaacs recently released a top-4 of Oklahoma State, UNLV, Texas Tech, and Arizona State. He’s also scheduled for an official visit with Texas Tech next weekend which is a promising sign for Texas Tech. I’d expect Isaacs to be a priority target for the staff moving forward.

Robert Jennings | 6’8″ Power Forward | DeSoto, TX

National Rankings: 247 sports #228, Rivals 3 Star

Jennings is a bit underrated on the national ranking boards but he’s arguably a top-150 prospect in the class of 2022 to many people in the industry. Texas Tech recently made his top-6 cut list posted to his social media accounts.

Chauncey Gibson | 6’6″ Wing | Dallas, TX

National Rankings: Rivals 3-star

Gibson is another under-the-radar prospect that should be ranked much higher than he has been by the national recruiting boards. However, PrepHoops has Gibson listed as the 42nd best prospect in the state of Texas which is quite impressive. It’s unknown how interested Gibson is in Texas Tech but being a Texas native he should have an idea of how established the Texas Tech basketball program has become in recent years.

With Terrence Shannon Jr & Kevin McCullar likely headed to the NBA in the coming years, securing a young lengthy wing would be a huge win for Mark Adams.
