10. Keith Fisher III, F, Pepperdine Waves

9.6 points, 6 rebounds, .8 assists with Illinois State (2019-2020)

Head coach Lorenzo Romar landed a much-needed veteran and leader when journeyman Keith Fisher III announced he’d be headed to Malibu and play for the Pepperdine Waves. Fisher is a multiple-level scorer and spacer who showed his solid rebounding ability in his redshirt sophomore year with the Illinois State Redbirds.

Fisher will be asked to help consolidate the loss of last year’s leading rebounder Kessler Edwards, who also provided 17.2 points per game.

9. Alphonso Anderson, F, Pacific Tigers

6.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, .7 assists with Utah State

Alphonso Anderson is a player that can do a bit of everything. The 6.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and .7 assists doesn’t really capture what made him the 6th man of the Mountain West and a key component for tournament team Utah State.

When he’s at his best, he’s a highly efficient scorer at all levels. He regressed last year from a 49% field goal percentage his freshman year to 40%, but he also shows a bit of range, shooting 33% from three last year. Anderson will be key as Pacific tries to stay afloat in the upper half of the WCC (finished 5th last year).

He will likely move out of that 6th Man role with the departures of two major contributors in Broc Finstuen and Daniss Jenkins.
