Small Forward

Stanley Umude (South Dakota) is an intriguing addition to the Arkansas basketball lineup given his body of work in the Summit League. He spend 2018-21 at South Dakota where he made quite the name for himself.

He poured in 21.5 ppg, 7.0 rpg, and 3.0 apg, all career-high averages as a first-team All-Summit League selection in 2020-21. He was a first-team All-Summit selection in 2018-19 and a second-team selection in 2019-20 as well while showing off his skills as a scorer and playmaker on the wing.

He made a career-high 39 3-pointers while shooting a career-high 35.5 percent from behind the arc in 2020-21. In their first victory of 2020-21, he went off for 41 points and 11 rebounds against South Dakota State. He’s a player that can get going as a volume shooter.

As he looks to continue to improve his game, Musselman hopes to end up on the good side of fortune with his addition. Jaxson Robinson is another option they’ll have off the bench. He’s a 6-foot-6 freshman that spent the 2020-21 season at Texas A&M where he posted 2.1 ppg and 1.1 rpg in 9.8 mpg across 14 appearances (4 starts).

Chance Moore is another prospect that could find his way sharing time at the small forward/guard spot giving his knack for rebounding the ball. It will be interesting to see where he lands in 2021-22.
