Shooting Guard

Hunter Sallis is a leading name to know at 6-foot-5 that can really get out make things happen. He posted 22.2 ppg, 5.6 rpg and 3.8 apg in 2020-21 as a senior in high school and led his school to their first-ever state title to finish things off on a high note. He posted 25 points, five rebounds and five assists in the victory.

He’s an explosive player that should bring a presence as a rim runner and attacker on the fastbreak given his length and athleticism. He’s got solid handles that he uses well to create off the bounce and find others in space for buckets. Look for him to compete for minutes along with Nolan Hickman and Dominick Harris.

Harris made 25 appearances in 2020-21 to put up 3.0 ppg on 39.1 percent shooting from the 3-point line. Look for his role to grow with some depth issues for them at the shooting guard spot.

Andrew Nembhard could very easily slide over and share the backcourt duties with Rasir Bolton and give Gonzaga basketball quite the lethal 1-2 combination, pun intended. Last season, Nembhard shot 32.3 percent from behind the arc, so he’s got the ability to shoot on the perimeter going for him if they go that route.
