NCAA Basketball: 5 best bets to win 2021-22 national championship

Kansas +1500 ($100 bet wins $1,500)
Jayhawks fans, I have great news. Davion Mitchell is in Sacramento. Jared Butler and MaCio Teague are in Utah. They can’t hurt you anymore. Last year for just the second time in seventeen years, Kansas did not win a share of the Big 12 regular-season title. It wasn’t because they were bad; Baylor was simply one of the best college teams in the last decade. Now that those three are gone, the Big 12 trophy should return to its rightful heir.
Oh, and there’s one more thing. Remy Martin is in Lawrence. With the state of so many programs in flux this offseason because of the transfer portal, Bill Self went out and made one of the biggest splashes of the summer.
Martin surprised people after finishing his fourth season at Arizona State and announcing that his collegiate career was not over, but that it was going elsewhere. At ASU, he was a prolific scorer and reliable playmaker. His game should travel nicely to Lawrence as he joins an established backcourt featuring Ochai Agbaji and Christian Braun.
Kansas will also retain two more double-digit scorers in the frontcourt with Jalen Wilson and David McCormack returning to school. Kansas should be one of the best scoring teams in the nation this year, and if Coach Self can get his guys to buy in and compete defensively, Kansas could have a case for being the best team in the NCAA. Kansas at +1500 is intriguing, to say the least.
