8. Olivier-Maxence Prosper

Olivier-Maxence Prosper joins Marquette basketball fresh out of the transfer portal. Prosper is a 6-foot-8 versatile forward that joins Marquette basketball after spending a season in the ACC with the Clemson Tigers in 2020-21.

He averaged just 2.5 ppg and 1.9 rpg through 22 appearances in his college debut at the forward spot. He appeared in 9.7 minutes of action in his debut season, showing poise as an offensive rebounder.

While he wasn’t exactly the most impactful, he got a season of college basketball under his belt. He’ll look to continue developing his career at either forward position with the Golden Eagles over the next four seasons.

7. Kur Kuath

Kur Kuath is a 6-foot-10 center that should improve Marquette basketball’s frontcourt in Smart’s first season. He made 27 appearances with 15 starts with Oklahoma basketball averaging 5.1 ppg, 3.8 rpg, and 1.5 bpg this past season as a paint protector and presence around the rim.

He finished third in Big 12 basketball in total blocks (40) as quite the paint protector. He has a chance to act as an anchor in a similar fashion for the Golden Eagles and make an instant impact in the paint.
