4. David Joplin

David Joplin is another three-star prospect He put up 25.6 ppg, 10.6 rpg, and 2.6 apg in his final season as a senior at Brookfield Central High (WI) in 2020-21. He’s got a strong frame that allows him to play inside and is an underrated scorer.

He’s a sizeable forward at 6-foot-7 and 215 pounds that has an opportunity to play a versatile role in the frontcourt for years to come with Marquette basketball.

3. Keeyan Itejere

Keeyan Itejere is another under-the-radar hybrid forward prospect out of GRACE Christian (NC), where he finished with 11.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 3.0 bpg, and 2.0 apg. He possesses a ton of versatility with his length and athleticism.

Itejere was a holdover in Smart’s recruiting efforts to Texas, changing his pledge to Marquette this past summer. He’s an athletic 6-foot-9 prospect that flies around the floor and has a chance to find a solid role as an energy guy with Marquette basketball.

He’ll challenge Justin Lewis for minutes at the forward spot and could even find himself in the starting rotation by season’s end given his potential on the floor.
