3. The Big Ten bigs are legit

So much has been made of how good the Big Ten’s frontcourt players are and rightfully so.  Five of the top nine players in the country in the Three Man Weave’s Preseason Top 100 Players list are Big Ten frontcourt stars.

It was impressive seeing them all in person, and seeing just how “big” the bigs really are.  As Ant Wright pointed out, it’s hard to process without seeing it up close.  EJ Liddell is the smallest in stature of the stars, but he still towers over the tallest members of the media.

Beyond stature, it was interesting watching the best of the best navigate the obligations of Media Day in their own way.  Kofi Cockburn seemed to be having fun all day with new sidekick Andre Curbelo, Dickinson was making headlines, EJ Liddell gave insightful answer after insightful answer, Trayce Jackson-Davis handled the home state media buzz in Indy extremely well, and Trevion Williams made sure his teammates got some camera time.

All five players could be All-Americans by the end of the season, and all five will do it their own unique way.
