2021 Legends Classic Bracket

Game 1: Virginia vs Georgia

When: Monday, November 22 at 7:00 pm ET on ESPNU

One intriguing storyline to watch from this matchup between the Cavaliers and Bulldogs is Virginia transfer Jabri Abdur-Rahim facing off against his former team. While Georgia could potentially pull the upset here, Virginia should pick up the win here due to a big game from the previously mentioned Gardner.

Prediction: Virginia 67, Georgia 60

Game 2: Providence vs Northwestern

When: Monday, November 22 at 9:30 pm ET on ESPN+

Arguably the most-intriguing matchup between the two is Providence/Northwestern, a game that will feature two of the top players in each’s respective conference in Watson and Nance. This game will likely be close throughout, with a late run from the Friars being the difference.

Prediction: Providence 75, Northwestern 70

Game 3: Loser G1 vs Loser G2

When: Tuesday, November 23 at 5:00 pm ET on TBD

Game 4 (Championship Game): Winner G1 vs Winner G2

When: Tuesday, November 23 at 7:30 pm ET on TBD

You could certainly make the argument for either of these teams in the potential championship game between the Cavaliers and Friars, but I’ll say Virginia rebounds from their slow start to the season to win the 2021 Legends Classic in a close, low-scoring contest.

Prediction: Virginia 69, Providence 64
