60. Keeshawn Barthelemy – Sophomore

Colorado had an opening at the Point Guard spot heading into the year after the departure of McKinley Wright IV, and Barthelemy filled in admirably. His departure from Colorado is interesting given they would have a good team next year and he was the incumbent starter at the position. The sophomore guard still decided to enter the portal and try to see what else is out there.

Barthelemy has good shooting numbers across the board and his efficiency should get better as he plays more minutes. The guard is a great free throw shooter and good shooter from deep. He is an okay passer and holds a 2 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. He plays hard and has the ability and will get better as he gets older.

59. TJ Madlock – Freshman

It is not every day that the head coach’s son enters the transfer portal. This is what has happened here as Madlock is the son of the South Carolina State head coach. The freshman guard put up big numbers in the MEAC and was a huge catalyst in the turnaround of the Bulldog program. Madlock isn’t a great shooter right now but has a nice repeatable shot that will get better over time. He is adept at getting to the paint and for his size of 6’3,” he is a fantastic rebounder.

He is a good passer and was able to get his teammates involved a lot. The speed of the game as a freshman did affect him a bit as he was a little turnover prone but that should go away as he gets more comfortable with the college game.

58. Morris Udeze – Junior

Udeze is also a holdover from the Gregg Marshall era at Wichita State. The big man is a very efficient offensive player in the post. Udeze averaged double-digit points this year and nearly all his points came from inside the paint. The 56% career shooter did start to shoot a little bit outside of the paint this season and it didn’t go well.

The junior is at his best when he is patrolling the paint. He is also one of the best offensive rebounders in the country as he averaged over 2 offensive rebounds per game this season. Udeze may not score much at his next school but he will rebound and play great interior defense and that is a huge asset to any program.

57. Chase Johnston – Sophomore

Stetson has had some nice players over the last few seasons, and they have not been able to put it all together. The Hatters had a tough year last year with some pretty good talent. Johnston took the most threes of anyone in the portal as he took 247 threes last year and made 99 of them.

Yep, doing the math that is 40% of his shots from downtown. Johnston doesn’t do much else, but he can shoot like crazy, and every team always needs a shooter. The sophomore guard will have suitors because of his ability on the offensive end.

56. Al-Amir Dawes – Junior

I have always been a huge Dawes fan and I know others are not because Dawes isn’t flashy, and he plays clunky basketball. That is a product of Clemson Basketball under head coach Brad Brownell. Dawes ran the point for the Tigers for two seasons and was the leader of the defense. Clemson plays lock-down defense and likes to slow a game way down.

Dawes is one of the better shooters in the portal and that is what he is known for as he takes almost 75 of his shots from deep. He makes them at 37% over the course of his career. Any team looking for a dead-eye shooter and a good defender is going to give Dawes a call.

55. Efton Reid III – Freshman

LSU had a season to forget as they were one of the last undefeated teams in the country and then heading into the tournament coach Will Wade was fired for his role in the FBI scandal. The Tigers freshman had an up and down season and his per-minute averages were great. Reid was a former five-star recruit who is tremendously talented and has a ton of upside.

Reid is going to get a ton of looks in the portal and should only continue to get better. He averaged 6 points per game and 4 rebounds per game in just under 20 minutes per game. As he starts to learn more and play more minutes Reid is going to be a great player.

54. Sir’Jabari Rice – Junior

The junior guard will always be remembered as a New Mexico State Aggie. The Aggies had a huge win over UConn in the NCAA tournament and Rice may not have been the leading scorer in the game, but his defense and ability helped keep that game within reach for the Aggies. Rice had his worst offensive year of his career this season but that may have been a product of having another ball-dominant guard on the floor in Teddy Allen.

Rice takes good shots, shoots a ton of threes, and does get fouled a lot when he puts the ball on the floor. He can beat teams in a lot of different ways, and he is a solid all-around player who should find a spot as a starter somewhere.

53. Micah Parrish – Freshman

Parrish, like most other players who play for the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, can shoot and is very good at running an up-tempo style of offense. Parrish has decided to enter the transfer portal and will likely be a guy who is going to be thought of as an Alpha on the offensive end.

The guard scored double-digit points in 7 of the last 8 games to close out the season and in most of those efforts, he was extremely efficient from the floor and was able to shoot about 40% from deep over that stretch. Parrish still has 3 years of eligibility left so it will be a benefit to have on the team and get him in quickly. The guard can play for a power five school and will likely lead the team in scoring.

52. Hunter McIntosh – Junior

Just add McIntosh to the long line of Elon basketball players who had a down year. McIntosh went into the season as one of the best players in the Colonial, while he still ended the year as one of the better players in the league, he didn’t have the year he wanted which makes it now three Elon players on this list.

McIntosh is the best of the lot and can play at the power five-level and run the point. He has a great basketball IQ, is a good shooter, and all-around natural scorer. A change of scenery is going to be good for the guard and his 38% three-point shooting percentage.

 51. Kendle Moore – Senior

Colorado State was one of the best mid-major teams in the country a season ago and Moore was a huge reason why. The senior point guard started all but 1 game in his career in Fort Collins and while his scoring numbers are not awe-inspiring, he can score 20 per game and is extremely streaky. Moore has won a lot of games at Colorado State and has respectable shooting percentages when he does shoot the ball.

The guard had a change of heart as he initially decided to stay at Colorado State and then as time passed, he decided to ultimately enter the transfer portal for his last year of eligibility. Over his career he doesn’t turn the ball over much and is known for his great defense, Moore should have a lot of suitors in the portal.
