8. Mikal Bridges – Villanova, 2016-2018

Career stats: 11.3 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 1.5 SPG

All that really needs to be said to justify Bridges’ spot on this list is that he won two national championships in three seasons at Villanova. He was a role player on the 2016 squad but an All-American and first-team All-Big East selection who averaged 17.7 points on the 2018 national title squad.

His teams also won two Big East regular-season titles and two Big East Tournament titles over his three seasons. Per Sports Reference, he ranks first in school history in box plus/minus and steal percentage and second in player efficiency rating.

He was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in 2018 and finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting this season. He has also led the league in games played three times in just four seasons. As durable as they come.

7. Ryan Arcidiacano – Villanova, 2013-2016

Career stats: 11.1 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 3.7 APG

There is one stat that summarizes Arcidiacano’s career at Villanova quite effectively — he ranks sixth in program history in games played but first in minutes played. An incredible feat considering Collin Gillespie played five seasons of college ball.

Arcidiacano was never one to put up huge numbers, but he was undeniably invaluable as a point guard and floor general for Jay Wright over his four seasons in Philly. And what better way to cap off an incredible college career than with an assist to Kris Jenkins to win Villanova’s first national championship in more than 30 years?
