Duke Blue Devils

It took a while for the Blue Devils to address their potential shooting issues on the current roster but they did land Illinois transfer Jacob Grandison for that role. He’s a likely one-year rental so Stojaković could simply replace him in the backcourt. Having the son of Peja Stojaković would be a big storyline for the national program and certainly would be the biggest stage for him in NCAA Basketball.

The concern here is how loaded the backcourt already will be for Duke, based on what the 2023 class has. Top-3 prospect Mackenzie Mgbako has the wing position locked down, while top-30 guards, Caleb Foster and Jared McClain will get minutes as well. So if Stojaković is okay with possibly playing off the bench then this could be a real option. Otherwise, the logjam of top-tier commits could be an obstacle here.

Oregon Ducks

After losing the commitment of five-star wing Mookie Cook, the Ducks are reportedly also in the mix for top-10 combo forward, KJ Evans. Landing him, along with Stojaković and current class of 2023 PG commit Jackson Shelstad would be a nice group for the program. The team definitely could use this recruit to upgrade the overall shooting and Stojaković could very well start and have a sizeable role as a freshman.

Oregon would allow Stojaković to stay out west if he wants but are they a better option than UCLA? That question alone could determine their viability in this recruitment but in terms of potential playing time, the Ducks certainly have a lot to offer.
