North Carolina Tar Heels

There’s a 99.8% chance that both RJ Davis and Caleb Love will be gone by the 2024-25 season and they’re the entire perimeter offense for the Tar Heels coming into the season. Four-star freshman Seth Trimble will get minutes as the backcourt and is the soon-to-be starter for the team. Five-star shooting guard commit Simeon Wilcher in the 2023 class and assuming he’s around for at least a year, would be a nice pairing with Cadeau in the backcourt.

Head coach Hubert Davis has proven himself in just year one at North Carolina and the team remains in national contention. There’s a clear path to being the starting point guard if Cadeau were to pick them and unlike Louisville, the Tar Heels aren’t rebuilding whatsoever.

Syracuse Orange

The other ACC program on this list has a pair of ball-handlers on the roster in senior Joe Girard and freshman Judah Mintz. One will run out of eligibility (Girard) and Mintz is a potential NBA prospect if things go well this or next year. Cadeau is someone that could do well offensively for the Orange, although his lack of size could make him a liability in a zone defense.

The big question here is who would be the head coach by the time Cadeau would potentially arrive. Hall of Famer Jim Boeheim is up there in age and Syracuse has struggled as of late. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he retired soon so that has to be in consideration here.
