Ernest Ross

Ernest Ross has a major opportunity here with the extended role that should be coming his way.

Ross is the best shot blocker on this team averaging 1 block a game in only 10 minutes. Ross has a ridiculous bounce that should help him be effective in the pick-and-roll as a lob threat.

The question for Ross is can he bang with the post players he will see in the ACC? At only 190 pounds Ross will be undersized in almost every matchup. He will have to use his high motor, leaping ability, and quickness to impact the defensive end, especially when it comes to rebounding.

Giving Ross more minutes off the bench could unleash another level for this Wolfpack team with the pace and space game they like to play on offense and the full-court pressure they apply on defense. The Sophomore has a great opportunity to carve out a consistent role for this team if he is able to take advantage of the added minutes he should see going forward.
